Inter-Collegiate Achievement Brings Multiple Prizes to KWC Students

Inter-Collegiate Achievement
Students of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, brought laurels to the institution by securing prizes in the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat” Inter-Collegiate Competitions held on 1 August 2026. MY Bharat Kendra, Thoothukudi, and V.O. Chidambaranar College, Thoothukudi, jointly organized the competitions. The programme provided an opportunity for college students to showcase their creativity, communication skills, teamwork and cultural talents while promoting the message of a drug-free and responsible younger generation.

Second Prize in Slogan Writing

S. Aswathi, II B.Sc. Microbiology, participated in the Slogan Writing Competition and secured the Second Prize. Her achievement reflected her creativity and ability to communicate a meaningful social message through effective words. Moreover, the competition encouraged students to use their creative skills to promote awareness about the importance of a drug-free society.

Second Prize in Mime Competition

Students of II B.Sc. Microbiology demonstrated excellent teamwork and performance skills in the Mime Competition. The prize-winning Mime Team consisted of:

The first-year students of the Department of Business Administration also represented the college in the Group Dance Competition. The team comprised:
