Department of Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology at Kamaraj Women’s College was established in the academic year 2022, marking a dedicated initiative to promote scientific education and research among young women interested in life sciences.
The department offers the undergraduate programme B.Sc. Microbiology under the Self-Financing Stream. This course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in microbiological concepts, including microbial physiology, medical microbiology, immunology, biotechnology, and environmental microbiology.
