The Lab2Ramp Competition was successfully organized by the Department of Microbiology and the Department of Fashion Technology of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, on 19 February 2026 at 09:30 AM in the KC Auditorium. This intercollegiate event aimed to create a dynamic platform where science met style and innovation met performance.
The Lab2Ramp Competition was designed to promote interdisciplinary learning by blending microbiology concepts with fashion creativity and performing arts. As a result, students from various colleges participated with great enthusiasm, making the event vibrant and intellectually engaging.

A lunch break was provided from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, allowing students and guests to refresh before the valedictory function.
Session III – Valedictory Function
The afternoon session began at 2:00 PM with a warm welcome address. The Correspondent addressed the gathering and emphasized skill development and practical exposure as essential components of higher education.
The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech and encouraged students to explore opportunities in both scientific research and creative industries. Moreover, the guest congratulated the organizing departments for conducting the Lab2Ramp Competition in an innovative and professional manner.
