Inaugural Function of Surabhi Commerce Association

The Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance, Kamaraj Women’s College, proudly organized the Surabhi Commerce Association Inauguration Function on 11th July 2025, at 11:30 a.m. The event marked a significant step toward fostering leadership, collaboration, and holistic development among students of the department.

The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking ceremony by the newly elected office bearers of the Surabhi Association. The members officially assumed their roles with a pledge to contribute actively and responsibly to the growth and unity of the student community.

The elected office bearers for the academic year are:

Joint Secretary: D. Shamili Manogari
Media Coordinator: K. Muthalakshmi
Sports Coordinator: S. Manimala
Cultural Coordinator: M. Angelin Jeba

The Surabhi Commerce Association has been established with the aim of promoting unity, student engagement, and the development of leadership qualities among the learners of the department. Through various academic and extracurricular activities, the association is expected to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment.

A total of 176 students participated in the function and witnessed the formal induction of the office bearers. The event not only celebrated the spirit of student leadership but also inspired many to take initiative and contribute to their academic community.

The inauguration was a memorable occasion that set a positive tone for the activities and aspirations of the association in the academic year ahead.
