The Coastal Cleaning Programme at Harbour Beach was successfully organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 248 of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, on 19th September 2025. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF). The programme was a tribute to the 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, who is known as the Father of the Green Revolution in India. It also aligned with the observance of International Coastal Cleanup Day.
