The Anti-Drug Club of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, organized the “Rise Against Drugs” Awareness Programme on 18 September 2026 at 9.30 a.m. The programme created awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged them to choose a healthy, responsible and drug-free life.
Ms. K. Gandhimathi, MBA, Sub-Inspector of Police, Singappen Special Force, Thoothukudi, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. She shared her knowledge and experience with the students and explained the physical, psychological and social consequences of drug addiction.
