Program on Ethical Considerations in Employment Interviews

Kamaraj Women’s College, Department of Commerce, organized the Program Ethical Considerations in Employment Interviews on 22 January 2024. The resource person was B.Shaik Sarjoon, ISSM Business School, Chennai. The speaker emphasized the importance of fairness, confidentiality, and transparency. They discussed the need to avoid biased questioning, respect candidates’ privacy, and adhere to anti-discrimination laws. Practical insights were shared on crafting job-related questions, maintaining a respectful demeanour, and fostering a positive candidate experience. Overall, the lecture emphasized ethical guidelines to ensure a just and equitable employment interview process. 150 students participated in the guest lecture program.
