The
Department of Fashion Technology,
Kamaraj Women’s College, organized an
online quiz competition exclusively for the
II and III year Fashion Technology students to mark the celebration of
National Sewing Machine Day. The quiz competition was conducted on
13.06.2025 through an online platform, aiming to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness about the evolution, impact, and technical aspects of sewing machines in the fashion industry. A total of
34 students enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing their interest and understanding of the subject. The winners of the quiz competition were
L. Priyadharshini from
III Year and
M. Aruna from
II Year. The
prize distribution ceremony was held on
30.06.2025, where the winners were honored and appreciated for their outstanding performance. The event not only celebrated a significant day in the history of fashion technology but also served as a platform to encourage academic engagement and healthy competition among students.
