NSS- TREE PLANTING DAY

Kamaraj Women’s College National Service Scheme ( Unit No. 248) organized Tree Planting Ceremony on 24.8.2022. The program started at 9.30 a.m. with a college prayer song and a student prayer song. P.Aruna Devi, National Service Scheme coordinator welcomed the gathering. Master of the ceremony was done by E. Pavithra of I B.Sc Microbiology. Dr.M.Vanmathi Principal motivated the students with her inspiring speech. The resource persons are Mr.V. Srinivasan, Mr. D.Christopher, Mr.M.Murugesan, and Mr. Ayyappan came from We Can Trust, Thoothukudi. Many saplings were planted in the KWC garden. Mr.V.Srinivaasan gave the detailed and practical procedure to plant the trees. It is used for students and staff. 112 students participated in the program. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by S.Nisha of I B.Sc Microbiology. The tree-planting ceremony came to an end with the National Anthem.
