Powerful NSS Orientation Programme 2025 at Kamaraj Women’s College
Introduction to NSS Orientation Programme 2025
The NSS Orientation Programme 2025 Kamaraj Women’s College took place on 1st December 2025. It was conducted by NSS Unit No. 248 inside the college campus. The programme welcomed first year volunteers into the National Service Scheme. Moreover, it encouraged them to understand their role in social service. By joining the programme, students gained motivation to serve society with care, responsibility, and strong leadership.
Purpose of the NSS Orientation Programme 2025 Kamaraj Women’s College
This event focused on introducing the vision and mission of NSS. The mentors explained the need for active service in the community. In addition, they highlighted how NSS shapes confident, disciplined, and socially responsible youth. Because of this objective, students enthusiastically listened and understood how they can make a positive impact.

Two respected speakers guided the volunteers during the NSS Orientation Programme 2025 Kamaraj Women’s College.

Motivational Address by Dr. A. Veliappan
During his session, Dr. Veliappan explained the major goals of NSS. He stated that NSS volunteers develop discipline and teamwork skills. Furthermore, he described the employment benefits of NSS certificates. He also encouraged students to take part in NSS Special Camps and NSS Adventure Camps for career growth and personal development. Therefore, volunteers learned that NSS opens doors to both academic and social achievements.
Empowering Message by Dr. R. Karuppasamy
Then, Dr. Karuppasamy delivered a powerful speech on youth empowerment. He insisted that every young person has the ability to transform society. Additionally, he motivated students to actively participate in social causes and build confidence. His message strengthened the idea that service builds strong character and lifelong values.
Pledge for International AIDS Day: A Meaningful Initiative
The NSS Orientation Programme 2025 Kamaraj Women’s College also aligned with International AIDS Day. After the speeches, all volunteers took a pledge to create awareness about HIV AIDS. They also promised to show kindness and remove stigma from society. As a result, students understood the importance of health awareness and compassionate behavior.
Strong Guidance by the NSS Programme Officer
The programme ran smoothly under the guidance of Dr. Aruna Devi, NSS Programme Officer. She encouraged every volunteer to stay active in future programmes. Her leadership ensured that the new batch of volunteers felt confident about joining NSS.
Outcome of NSS Orientation Programme 2025
By the end of the event, volunteers felt motivated and proud to be part of NSS. They expressed their appreciation to the resource persons and college management. Eventually, the orientation concluded with a vote of thanks. This session clearly helped students understand the NSS motto Not Me But You. The entire programme successfully strengthened their sense of service, unity, and duty toward society.
