NSS Organizes Women’s Self-Help Group Exhibition

Kamaraj Women’s College’s National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 248 organized a Women’s Self-Help Group (SHG) exhibition on September 10, 2024. The event was orchestrated by NSS Program Officer, Dr. P. Aruna Devi. Several SHGs participated by setting up stalls showcasing a wide range of products such as jute bags, various pickles, dresses, cloth bags, eco-friendly pouches, and fancy items. Self-Help Groups have become a powerful tool for poverty alleviation and empowerment in India. The exhibition attracted around 297 visitors, including parents and students, who explored the stalls and purchased desired products, supporting the local women entrepreneurs.
