National Level Seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation: Shaping the Future Education, Employment and E-Commerce”

Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance, Kamaraj Women’s College organized a National Level Seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation: Shaping the Future of Education, Employment, and E-Commerce” on 19th December 2024.The seminar consisted of three insightful sessions, delivered by esteemed resource persons from various fields: Session 1:The topic, AI and Future Employment in Commerce Sector, was presented by Ms.M. Mahalakshmi, Senior Cyber security Analyst at Capgemini Technology Services, Bangalore. She shared valuable insights into the evolving job landscape in the AI sector and highlighted key skills essential for future careers. Session II: Mrs.N. Hemavathi, Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, delivered a session on AI in Research, Teaching, and Learning: Transforming Future Education and Knowledge. She emphasized the role of AI in revolutionizing education and provided actionable strategies for integrating AI into teaching and learning methodologies. Session III: Dr. C. Raj Kumar handled the final session on Starting Your Journey as on Online Selling: A Comprehensive Guide. This session explored the various aspects of e-commerce, including starting and managing online businesses effectively. The seminar witnessed active participation from students, professors, and research scholars, with over 400 attendees. It proved to be highly beneficial, especially for research scholars, by offering practical insights and tools for conducting efficient research in AI and digital transformation. Students also gained a deeper understanding of online selling techniques and AI-driven job opportunities, equipping them with knowledge for their academic and professional growth. This one-day national-level seminar successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and practical applications, leaving participants with a wealth of knowledge to navigate the rapidly evolving fields of AI and e-commerce.
