Building Tomorrow’s India – My Bharath Student Registration Drive – NSS
The NSS Unit No. 248 of Kamaraj Women’s College successfully organized a dynamic student outreach programme titled “Building Tomorrow’s India – My Bharath Student Registration Drive” on 17th July 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both NSS and non-NSS students, who actively registered themselves on the MyBharat portal under the Youth Registration initiative.
MyBharat is a flagship initiative launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The initiative is designed to empower the younger generation by enhancing social mobility, addressing educational disparities, and equipping youth with essential practical skills and experiential learning opportunities. With a strong emphasis on nation-building and inclusive growth, the platform encourages youth to actively contribute to community development while preparing themselves for meaningful careers.
The event at Kamaraj Women’s College served as a significant step in introducing students to these transformative opportunities. The programme was meticulously organized by Ms. P. Aruna Devi, NSS Programme Officer of Unit No. 248, who played a pivotal role in coordinating every aspect of the event. Her leadership, combined with the unwavering support and participation of dedicated NSS volunteers, ensured the smooth execution of the registration drive.
A key contributor to the event’s success was the resource person, Mrs. P. Saranya Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, Kamaraj Women’s College. She provided critical technical support and service, ensuring that the online registration process was seamless and accessible to all participating students.
This impactful programme not only facilitated the students’ official entry into the MyBharat platform but also helped raise awareness about their roles in shaping India’s future. Through this initiative, the college reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing responsible, skillful, and socially engaged citizens of tomorrow.
