The Almeida Microbiology Association of the Department of Microbiology, Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, celebrated International Microorganism Day on 17 September 2026 under the theme “Tiny Giants of Our World.” The programme created awareness among students about the fascinating world of microorganisms and their important roles in everyday life.
