Industrial Visit Gives Hands-on Textile Industry Experience

The Department of Fashion Technology, Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, organized an Industrial Visit to Mahavishnu Spinning Mills, Kovilpatti, for 55 students from the I, II, and III Year B.Sc. Fashion Technology programme. The visit was conducted to provide practical exposure to the textile manufacturing industry and help students understand the complete spinning process from fibre to yarn.

The Industrial Visit offered students an excellent opportunity to connect classroom learning with real industrial practices. Moreover, the visit enabled participants to observe modern spinning technology, quality assurance systems, and production processes followed in a large-scale textile manufacturing unit.
