The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, in association with WEWA Trust, successfully organized a Half-Day Workshop on Household Product Making on 3 August 2026 at the GN Seminar Hall. The workshop aimed to develop entrepreneurial skills among students by providing practical training in the preparation of household cleaning products and creating awareness about self-employment opportunities.

The programme combined hands-on learning with entrepreneurial guidance, enabling students to understand how simple household products can be transformed into profitable small-scale business ventures. Moreover, the workshop encouraged participants to explore innovative and sustainable income-generation opportunities.

Objectives of the Workshop

The workshop was organized with the following objectives:
