Guest Lecture Program on The Current Issues In Indian Economy

The Department of Commerce, Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, organized a Guest Lecture Program on “The Current Issues In Indian Economy” on 12th November 2021 at 10 A.M in our KWC seminar hall. Dr. A. Asok, Associate Professor, and Research Coordinator, Kamaraj college Thoothukudi performed as a Resource person. The program started with college and students’ prayer songs. The guest speaker explained inflation, reasons for changing CPI, controlling inflation, the balance of payments, and the deficit budget. Low Economic Growth, Labor Problems, and Economic solutions are spoken about in the Discussion session. The speaker asked some questions to the students if got the correct answer, he presented gifts to them. Miss. K. Aswini (I B.com) welcomed the gathering, Mrs. P. Aruna Devi (Head and Assistant Professor) introduced the chief guest and Miss. G. Nisanthini (I B.com) gave a vote of thanks, Master of ceremony done by Miss. R. Vidhya (B.com). Our department students actively participated in the guest lecture program. The program has been organized by the students’ coordinators and HOD with the help of our Management.
