Handmade Jewellery Presentation by II Year Students

The II Year Fashion Technology students showcased their handmade jewellery and ornaments through an attractive Fashion Walk.

Students designed and handcrafted the jewellery pieces themselves. Therefore, the presentation allowed them to demonstrate their abilities in accessory designing, material selection, colour coordination and creative presentation.

Each student presented the jewellery with suitable styling to highlight the appearance and individual character of the creation.

Moreover, the activity gave students an opportunity to see how accessories can contribute to the overall impact of a fashion presentation.

Creativity in Accessory Designing

The handmade jewellery presentation highlighted the creative abilities of the students.

They applied their ideas while selecting materials, developing designs and coordinating colours. Furthermore, they considered how each jewellery piece could complement the overall styling used during the Fashion Walk.

The activity therefore went beyond simply creating an accessory. It encouraged students to think about design, appearance, styling and presentation as connected elements.

As a result, the students gained useful practical experience in presenting their own handmade creations.

Portfolio Garment Presentation by III Year Students

The III Year Fashion Technology students presented their Portfolio Garments through the Fashion Walk.

The students developed these garments as part of their portfolio work. Each garment reflected the student’s individual design concept, creativity and garment construction skills.

Furthermore, the students confidently walked the ramp wearing their designed garments and communicated their design ideas through their overall styling and presentation.

The activity gave them a practical opportunity to bring together fashion design, garment construction, styling, colour combination and visual presentation.

From Design Concept to Fashion Presentation

The portfolio garment presentation allowed students to take their work from the design stage to the final presentation stage.

Students could demonstrate not only their ability to create garments but also their understanding of how those garments should appear when presented before an audience.

Moreover, they used styling and visual presentation to communicate their individual design ideas.

This process helped students understand that successful fashion presentation involves a combination of design, construction, styling, confidence and presentation.

The Fashion Walk Programme gave students an opportunity to present their creations confidently on stage.
