Extension Activity Empowers 150 School Students
Report on Extension Activity Programme
The Department of Commerce, Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, organized an Extension Activity on 17 August 2026 at 3.00 p.m. at Victoria Girls Higher Secondary School, Thoothukudi. The programme aimed to connect college students with school students through meaningful educational and awareness activities.
A total of 150 Class XI students participated enthusiastically in the programme. Through interactive sessions, the college students shared useful knowledge on values, responsible mobile phone usage and the importance of education. In addition, a quiz made the programme engaging and encouraged active participation.
Objectives of the Programme
The Extension Activity focused on the following objectives:
- Promote meaningful interaction between college and school students

Participation of School Students
Around 150 students of Class XI from Victoria Girls Higher Secondary School actively participated in the programme.
