The Digital Detox Lecture was organized by the Anti-Drug Club of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, on 24 February 2026 from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at the KWC Seminar Hall. The session focused on the thought-provoking theme “Digital Detox vs Drug Detox”, addressing two major concerns affecting today’s youth — substance abuse and digital addiction.

Inaugural Session
The programme commenced with a prayer song rendered by M. Vinisha (I Microbiology) and S. Muthu Eswari (I Microbiology), invoking divine blessings for the success of the event. Immediately afterward, J. Jaishree Thangam (I Microbiology) delivered the welcome address and warmly received the Chief Guest, Principal, Correspondent, faculty members, and students.
The Anti-Drug Club honored the Chief Guest, Dr. P. Divya Darshini, BNYS, Naturopathy and Lifestyle Consultant from Gujarat, with respect and gratitude. Her presence added professional depth and credibility to the session.

The primary objective of the Digital Detox Lecture was to create awareness about:
