The Protect Girl Child Awareness Programme was organized by NSS Unit No. 248 of Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, in association with the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, Tamil Nadu, on 16th February 2026 at 10.30 a.m. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting and educating the girl child while addressing critical social issues affecting women and children.
