The Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, organized the Beyond Books Programme titled “Beyond Books – Rise Higher” on 3 October 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. at the KWC Seminar Hall.

Mr. V. Vijay, Associate Development Engineer, Hiview, Coimbatore, served as the Resource Person. The programme aimed to encourage students to look beyond regular classroom learning and focus on knowledge, skill development, career awareness and professional growth.

Moreover, the session motivated students to understand that academic knowledge becomes more valuable when they combine it with practical skills, continuous learning and career awareness.

The programme commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu.

Following this, Dharshini and Shanthini presented the prayer song and created a pleasant beginning to the programme.

Janany served as the Master of Ceremony and coordinated the proceedings.

Thereafter, Meshrin delivered the Welcome Address. She warmly welcomed the Resource Person, faculty members and students to the programme.
