3rd Annual Day Celebration

The third annual day of Kamaraj Women’s College was celebrated on 8/4/2024. The function commenced with the Tamil Thai Vaalthu. P.Anushri Devi, student of Microbiology Department delivered the welcome address. Mr. P.S.P.K.J. Somu, Secretary, Kamaraj College, presided over the function. Mr. P. Chandra Sekar, Secretary of Thoothukudi Nadar Mahamai and President of Great Cotton Road Traders Association attended the program as the special guest. The Correspondent of Kamaraj Women’s College, Mr. R. Muthuselvam, introduced the special guest and honoured him. Dr. M. Vanmathi,the Principal ,Kamaraj Women’s College, read the annual report of the college. The special guest spoke about the importance of education for women and how to achieve success in life. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the top three students in various subjects department wise, and medals and certificates were given to the students who won in the sports day competitions. In this auspicious day, artistic performances like Bharata Natyam, dramas in Tamil and English, group dances in folk and western styles and a fashion parade were performed by the students. Aishwarya, student of III B.Com, presented the vote of thanks. Students M.Jeyanthi and B.Younica, final year students of Kamaraj Women’s College, hosted the program. The annual day celebrations concluded with the National Anthem.
