The Department of Fashion Technology at Kamaraj Women’s College, Thoothukudi, hosted an inspiring Value Education Programme on 16th September 2025 at the KWC Projector Hall. Titled தன்னம்பிக்கையின் தடம் (The Path of Self-Confidence), the event ran from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and focused on guiding students to develop self-confidence as a core value. Unlike a routine lecture, this programme offered motivation, practical advice, and interactive discussions that encouraged students to reflect on their personal growth. Furthermore, it highlighted the college’s commitment to shaping strong and disciplined young women.
Welcome Address
The session began with a warm welcome from Dr. M. Vanmathi, Principal of Kamaraj Women’s College. She stressed that self-confidence plays a central role in overcoming life’s challenges and achieving success. In addition, she urged students to practice discipline and values alongside confidence so that they can grow into responsible citizens. Her words set an encouraging tone for the entire programme.
