UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN (UBA)
Our college is an active participant in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship program initiated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The primary aim of UBA is to connect institutions of higher education with rural communities, fostering a spirit of collaboration to bring about sustainable and inclusive development.
Through UBA, our college works closely with selected villages, identifying key areas where knowledge, innovation, and community participation can make a tangible difference. Various training programs, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives are regularly conducted to enhance the quality of life in these rural areas. These include programs on health and hygiene, digital literacy, sustainable agriculture, women empowerment, and vocational skills.
The initiative offers students a unique platform to apply their academic knowledge in real-world contexts, engage with grassroots challenges, and develop a deeper understanding of rural India. It encourages a sense of social responsibility and equips students with the tools to become thoughtful and empathetic leaders of tomorrow.
Students who are interested in being a part of this transformative movement are encouraged to contact the UBA Program Officer for enrolment and further information. Contributing to Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is not just a service to society—it is an opportunity to be part of a national mission for meaningful change.
