The Investiture Ceremony – The Almeida Microbiology Association
The Investiture Ceremony of the newly elected Almeida Microbiology Association was held on 21st July 2025 at the KWC Seminar Hall, marking a proud and momentous occasion for the Department of Microbiology. The program was presided over by the esteemed Principal, Dr. M. Vanmathi, whose presence added significance and inspiration to the event.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address followed by an invocatory prayer, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the proceedings. The highlight of the event was the conferring of sashes to the newly elected office bearers of the Almeida Microbiology Association. This symbolic gesture signified the official induction of student leaders into their respective roles and responsibilities.
The Chairman of the Association then administered the oath of office, calling upon the leaders to serve with dedication, discipline, and integrity. In his motivating address, he urged the office bearers to be role models for their peers and to carry out their duties with a strong sense of commitment and teamwork.
The ceremony concluded on a graceful note with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, and students who contributed to the success of the event. The program ended with the rendering of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present.
