NSS Organized Tree Planting Ceremony

On March 8, 2024, Kamaraj Women’s College, NSS Unit 248, JCI Tuticorin Blue Sea (NGO), and Jockers Wanted (NGO) organized a Tree Planting Ceremony with the theme of Religious Harmony. The event aimed to promote unity, tolerance, and environmental consciousness among students. The ceremony commenced with an inaugural address by the NSS Coordinator, emphasizing the significance of fostering religious harmony and environmental sustainability. Following the introduction, representatives from each organizing body shared their insights on the importance of the event’s theme. Participants, including students, faculty members, and members of the NGO, actively engaged in planting saplings in designated areas of the college premises. The act of planting trees served as a symbol of unity and commitment to preserving the environment.
