Industrial Visit to TN Sericulture Unit & Aavin Milk Factory by Department of Microbiology

On 30.1.2025, The students of the Department of Microbiology, visited the TN Sericulture unit, Tenkasi and Aavin milk Factory, Tirunelveli as an industrial visit. The various processes involved in the silkworm rearing, silk thread reeling, coccoon selection etc were explained to the students and they observed the workers in the unit. They also visited the pasteurizing unit, of milk curd, ghee and other milk products in the Aavin milk factory. The trip was a beneficial experience for the students.
