FIDE 100 Guinness World Record Attempt

On 20th July 2024, Kamaraj Women’s College, Chess Club organised interdepartmental chess competitions to celebrate International Chess Day and the FIDE centenary of hundred Guinness world record attempts around 40 students from various departments actively participated. Mrs M Shanti chief arbiter helped to conduct the competition, Mrs.V. Neelaveni mam, MA BL, advocate and president of Kamaraj Women’s College was the chief guest and distributed the trophies for the best 10 players program came to an end with the national anthem.
