Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance Organises Guest Lecture on ‘Regulations and Ethics in Stock Market Investments’

Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance at Kamaraj Women’s College organized a guest lecture on “Regulations and Ethics in Stock Market Investments” on 5th February 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The resource person for the session was Dr. T. Subbulakshmi, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Sri Paramakalyani College, Alwarkurichi. Dr. Subbulakshmi provided insightful knowledge on key topics, including primary market and secondary market, methods of new issues and price fixing techniques, listing of securities and online trading procedures. The lecture emphasized the importance of ethical practices and regulatory frameworks in stock market investments. A total of 74 students actively participated in the program, gaining valuable informations into the functioning of stock markets and ethical considerations in trading.
