Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance Organises Guest Lecture on “Corporate Restructuring: Amalgamation and Absorption of Companies”

Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance at Kamaraj Women’s College organized a guest lecture program on “Capital Restructuring: Amalgamation and Absorption of Companies” on February 25, 2025. The resource person, Dr. M. Anbalagan, Principal, Sardar Raja Arts and Science College, Vadakkankulam, delivered a lecture covering various aspects of amalgamation and absorption, including meaning, types, and accounting standards. He also elaborated on the new accounting guidelines related to amalgamation. A total of 42 students from second year Commerce and Banking & Finance actively participated in the program, gaining valuable knowledge on corporate restructuring. The session was highly informative and provided students with a deeper understanding of the subject, enhancing their academic and practical knowledge in corporate finance.
