The Department of Tamil and English of
Kamaraj Women’s College successfully conducted an
Extension Activity on
08.07.2025 at
Bharatha Rathna Kamaraj Matriculation School, Thoothukudi. The session focused on key academic topics including
Tamil Ilakkanam,
Cheyyul, and
English Poem and Supplementary Lessons. The primary objective of the program was to
enhance linguistic awareness and to
reinforce grammatical competence in both Tamil and English. A total of
26 students from the school actively participated in the session. Designed to be
interactive and student-centered, the activity encouraged learners to explore the
similarities and differences in grammatical structures between the two languages. Our students led the session with confidence and clarity, explaining
core concepts, addressing
students’ doubts, and facilitating
hands-on learning exercises that deepened the participants’ understanding. The
practical approach adopted during the session was well-received. Participants expressed their appreciation through
positive feedback, particularly noting the
clarity of instruction and the
relevance of the content delivered.
