Department of Fashion Technology,
Kamaraj Women’s College, organized a vibrant and engaging
Alumni Interactive Session on
02.07.2025. The session featured
Ms. C. Maharasi, a proud
alumna of the department, as the
resource person. She warmly reminisced about her enriching
college and classroom experiences, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and motivation for the
first-year Fashion Technology students. Ms. Maharasi shared
valuable insights into various
career paths available in the fashion industry, along with current
industry trends and expectations. She also spoke on the importance of
continuous learning,
self-discipline, and
personal growth in achieving long-term success. Her words served as a source of inspiration and encouragement, particularly for students beginning their academic journey in the field of fashion technology. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to ask questions, exchange thoughts, and receive practical guidance. A total of
35 students actively participated in the program, making it a truly engaging and fruitful experience. The department expressed its heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Maharasi for her time, commitment, and for serving as a role model to aspiring fashion technologists.
