The
Department of Commerce and Banking & Finance of
Kamaraj Women’s College conducted a
Bridge Course for
first-year students from
23rd June to 27th June 2025. The course focused on essential foundational topics such as
Accounting Glossary,
Basis of Accounting,
Banking and Financial Literacy,
Digital Skills for Commerce Students, and
Entrepreneurship and Startup Culture. These sessions were handled by the
faculty members of the department. A total of
68 students participated in the course. It proved to be
highly beneficial for beginners, helping them overcome their initial fear and build
confidence in the subject.
