NSS Organises a Programme “From Awareness to Action: Tackling Climate-Driven Disasters”

Kamaraj Women’s College, National Service Scheme Unit No. 248 organized a program “From Awareness to Action: Tackling Climate-Driven Disasters” on October 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. The session featured M.A. Dhamotharan, Managing Trustee of the Disaster Management Trust in Thoothukudi, as the resource person. He provided insights into the meaning of disasters, their various types, principles of disaster management, and other related aspects. The event was coordinated by NSS Program Officer Dr. P. Aruna Devi and saw participation from 92 students.
