KWC NSS and The M.S.Swaminathan Research Foundation Jointly Organizes the Program “Save the Oceans: A Creative Challenge for Environmental Awareness”
KWC National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 248 and the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation jointly organized the program “Save the Oceans: A Creative Challenge for Environmental Awareness” on 27th March 2025. The event featured three competitions: Poetry Writing on the theme “Shall the Sea Resources Disappear?” (Kanamal Pogalama Sea Resource), Drawing Competition on “The Wealth of the Sea: Yesterday, Today, and Forever” (Kadal Valam Anrum Enrum), and Essay Writing on “Measures to Eliminate Marine Waste” (Kadal Kupaaikalai Agatra Vendiya Munerpadukal). A total of 40 students enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their talent and raising awareness about ocean conservation. Mr. V. Selvakumar, Project Officer, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, graced the event as the Special Guest and inaugurated the program. His inspiring address emphasized the importance of protecting marine resources. The event concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
